Auburn is such a beautiful foot hill town. A lot of cafes, antique shops and friendly folks. Today was foggy which made for some really interesting photos. Something very mysterious, romantic and gorgeous about fog.

Downtown Sacramento on Second Saturday

Downtown Sacramento
I went downtown today. Nice to walk around and get some fresh air. Lots of good art and friendly people. I think I like taking photos on over cast day the most. The colors really pop out.

Sacramento Rail Road Tracks
For this one I was just thinking it would be an interesting perspective. The reflection was a nice surprise.... Don't worry I didn't lay on the tracks... just the camera. :)

Lots of... uuummm unframed art in Sacramento. :)

Sacramento Tree

It's not as colorful as spring or fall but winter has its own sharp beauty.

All I can say is ... California. :)

Trip to Monterey California

I want to 17 Mile drive in Monterey this weekend. So beautiful! It's $9.50 to get it but really worth it. I recognized many of the scenes from paintings I've seen in the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento. It was rainy part of the day which meant there were a lot of awesome clouds for the sunset.

I'll post more pictures in my free stock photography section of my website that I'll be constantly expanding.  Here are a few of the high lights though.

Giant Picasso in Chicago!

Chicago Picasso

I saw this giant Picasso sculpture on my vacation to Chicago. It was amazing. Chicago is full of art. The Art Institute had a bunch of famous paintings by all my favorites (Cezanne, Van Gogh, Chagal, Magritte, Miro, Kandinsky etc.). I was in art heaven ha ha.

Not to mention the architecture was so creative and well designed. I got to see a couple houses designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

Read more about the history of the sculpture here.
